Keith's journey in the construction industry began at the tender age of 12, igniting a passion that would eventually lead to the creation of KM BUILDERS in 1984. He had an early start, but the initiation into remodeling wasn’t a walk in the park. “I thought it was going to be easier than new construction,” Keith recalls. “I mean, come on, you’re remodeling—the house is already there. It seems simple, but I was completely wrong about that.”
The challenge was more than just construction; it was about becoming a service provider. It was about mastering customer service and creating an exceptional client experience. This transformation took a significant turn when his daughter Morgan joined the business. “She really opened my eyes to what clients were looking for, both in design and in the client experience,” says Keith. “Meeting the needs of the end user and being attuned to what makes people happy was very rewarding for me.”
Over the past 40 years, Keith has built an in-house team of estimators, architects, cabinet designers, design consultants, project managers, interior designers, and field crew who are all dedicated to bringing each clients vision to life. Each member adds a layer of expertise that ensures the remodeling process is as smooth as possible.
