For the First Consultation, you’ll meet with our owner and President, Keith Moehle. He looks forward to meeting with you at your home to discuss your remodeling vision, offer creative ideas and possibilities, and have an open conversation about your budget and options to guide you through our detailed process with confidence in choosing KM BUILDERS.

This document grants KM BUILDERS the opportunity to begin ‘Designing the Experience’ for you and create a design that you will not want to leave our showroom without. The price of your Design Agreement will be in relation to the scope of your project. This agreement is separate from the contract proposal, should you later choose to finalize your partnership with us.

You will be assigned a Design Consultant who will guide you through the full remodeling process. On the Site Assessment day, your Consultant and a team of Estimators, Architects and Designers will visit to take measurements and photos while also discussing your vision over coffee and refreshments. Throughout the visit, they will learn the details of your desired design styles and preferences.

Your Design Consultant will review your inspirations so the Design Team can start creating detailed plans and 3D renderings. You'll meet on planned dates to watch your visions come alive and guide any decisions to ensure the design meets your living standards. The team will facilitate all design choices throughout these design meetings to craft plans tailored to your unique needs.

At the Proposal, your Design Consultant will present the finalized designs and 3D renderings of your project. During the proposal, your Consultant will answer any questions or concerns you may have. All base options for your design selections will be presented first, as well as options for upgrading if you desire. Each aspect of the proposed cost will be broken into menu pricing (base price+options).

Should you choose to accept the proposed agreement, a contract will be formed and signed within the same meeting and your project is now placed on our production schedule.

It’s time to get excited! Our superb and elegant ladies of the Interior Design Team will help you to select finish materials such as captivating tile, stunning countertops, chic lighting fixtures, fun paint colors, distinctive flooring and more! Fully lean into this step of the process to bring your inspirations to life.

Before construction, your Design Consultant will meet you at your home to introduce your Project Manager, Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager. They’ll do a walk through the project scope and review plans while our in-house photographer takes before photos. During the meeting, you’ll receive setup information for your BuilderTrend account where you can receive project updates and you’ll bet set up to receive daily text messages on scheduling updates. The Project Manager will review logistics with you such as construction entrance access, protection protocols and equipment locations.

Now we’ve started construction! Through-out this phase, you’ll have weekly meetings with your Project Manager to go over progress and any questions or concerns, etc. You’ll also receive the weekly schedule of production on your project including which Build Teams will be at your home.

Once your remodel is complete, the cleaning services we’ll provide have worked their magic and our photographer has captured the space to digital perfection, we’ll have a final walk-thru with your Project Manager. He will go over every last detail and make sure you are fully satisfied with your project. He will also provide a warranty for your project and review all final documents.
