The Octagon House

When a home is built by family, every wall holds a memory. KM BUILDERS was honored to help this Canyon Lake homeowner expand and update her father’s uniquely shaped octagon home while preserving its original character.

The goal was clear: maintain the feel of the home she grew up visiting, while making it more functional for longer summer stays. The new kitchen layout adds much-needed storage, expanded countertop space, and a sense of openness—all without compromising the home’s distinctive shape or story.

Custom cabinetry, classic finishes, and thoughtful design upgrades now make this space feel more livable while still honoring its roots. It’s a reminder that remodeling isn’t just about change—it’s about deepening the connection to a home that matters.
