Rustique Retreat

This whole-home renovation in Shavano Park blends rustic charm with modern-day functionality. KM BUILDERS preserved the home's original character while updating key areas to create a more personal, livable environment—perfect for long-term comfort and style.

The design evokes a sense of cabin-in-the-woods elegance, where natural textures, warm tones, and tailored details bring a cozy yet elevated feel to every space. A sculptural freestanding soaking tub now anchors the primary suite, replacing the dated drop-in tub and adding a touch of refinement.

Throughout the home, custom cabinetry, soft finishes, and thoughtful upgrades create a seamless balance between rustic atmosphere and modern efficiency.

Rustique Retreat proves that honoring your home’s roots doesn’t mean holding it back—it means bringing it forward with purpose, warmth, and style.
