KM BUILDERS is pleased to announce that General Manager Keith Moehle has achieved the prestigious Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler status from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
The Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler (CKBR) designation proves the remodeling contractor’s superior knowledge, technical comprehension and skill in remodeling. NARI’s CKBR program identifies professional remodelers who have undergone comprehensive review and testing in the areas of business management, ethical conduct and technical skills. The NARI certification program assess the knowledge and skills of the remodeler in more than 20 distinct areas, including business methods and practices, building codes and construction law, kitchen and bath planning, building site layout, and all trades skills required in residential remodeling.
“We know our clients are investing in what is likely their biggest asset, and we don’t take that trust lightly,” said Moehle. “We at KM Builders have been designing and building beautiful and functional spaces for more than 30 years, but it is nice to receive a designation like this one, which can give homeowners an added level of confidence they’ve made the right choice when selecting us to remodel their homes.”
Attaining this certification requires the candidate to have been working full time in the remodeling field for a minimum of five years and passing a comprehensive assessment exam. In addition, Certified Remodelers are bound to abide by the NARI Code of Ethics and the NARI Standards of Practice.
This is the second certification Moehle has received from NARI. The first was the Universal Design/Remodeling Certification (UDCP) back in 2013, which focuses on technical comprehension and skill when designing places and spaces for those wishing to “age in place” and for those with special needs – as well as the expertise to build these projects.
